The TRX Grip Row is a strength exercise that targets the muscles of the upper back, including the latissimus dorsi, rhomboids, and middle and lower trapezius. It is performed using a TRX suspension trainer, which consists of two straps attached to a stationary object such as a wall or a ceiling.
To perform a TRX Grip Row, start by standing facing the anchor point with your feet shoulder-width apart and the TRX straps in your hands. Walk your feet backwards until you are leaning back slightly and the TRX straps are taut. Keeping your body straight and your core tight, bend your elbows and pull your chest towards the straps, squeezing your shoulder blades together. Lower your body back down to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of reps.
It’s important to maintain proper form when performing the TRX Grip Row to avoid injury. Make sure to keep your body straight and your core tight throughout the exercise. You can adjust the difficulty of the exercise by changing your body angle relative to the ground – the more vertical you are, the easier the exercise will be, and the more horizontal you are, the harder it will be.
